STORRS, Conn. – The UConn track & field program had student-athletes competing at home in Storrs and on the road at the Virginia Tech Classic this weekend.
At the Virigina Tech Challenge, the Huskies had athletes competing in the men’s and women’s 400 meters and the women’s long jump. On Friday night, senior Taylor Woods (Marlboro, Md.) finished second in the event with a best jump of 5.91 meters (19’4.75″).
In the women’s 400 meters, junior Shanelle Colmon (East Brunswick, N.J.) finished second in the finals, clocking in at 55.48 to post a new personal best.
